Review by Keira, Berkelouw Cronulla
Bret Easton Ellis first shocked us with his debut novel 'Less Than Zero'
25 years ago. Imperial Bedrooms' reintroduced Clay's character, but this
time as a successful screenwriter returning to LA to cast a new film
adaptation. Not much else has changed in Clay's world though - money,
fame, murder and drugs still make his world tick, but this time he's a
little bit richer and a little bit hipper!
You don't need to have read the prequel to enjoy this novel, but if you
have, prepare to see what disenfranchised youth looks like 25 years
later.
