Combat Shooting

In "Combat Shooting", the reader is entertained and informed by Massad Ayoob's explanation of how combat pistol shooting began and how it evolved through two world wars and into the present day. The reader also learns the differences between the different types of tactical/combat pistol shooting competition and, finally, how he or she can improve his or her combat shooting performance through the application of these time-tested techniques.

Massad Ayoob is an internationally known firearms and self-defense instructor. He has taught police techniques and civilian self-defense to both law enforcement officers and private citizens in numerous venues since 1974, and has appeared as an expert witness in several trials. He has served as a part-time police officer in New Hampshire since 1972 and holds the rank of Captain in the Grantham, New Hampshire police department.
