A Year of Flowers

This book enables the beginning or more advanced card maker to create an entire year's worth of floral designs for all occasions in a variety of styles based on one versatile stamp set, organized by month and holiday. "A Year of Flowers" is a one of a kind set that contains realistic floral elements for building arrangements dreams are made of and a variety of blooms that will take one through every season: tulips in spring, sunflowers for Thanksgiving, poinsettias for those festive winter months, and more! All projects will use "A Year of Flowers" as a starting point, but with different techniques and layouts, clean and simple to more complicated ones, whimsical to vintage. This book will also help one organize her card making efforts, with the ability to track important dates to plan for how many cards are needed as well as have a place to record friends and loved ones addresses for mailing. Not only will the crafter grow in her card making abilities over the course of the year but with this book and stamps, she can sit down, create and get cards out on time!

I began stamping in 2003, but have enjoyed a life-long love affair with paper crafting (and flowers!) In 2008, I started working as a senior designer and illustrator for Gina K. Designs. Upon publication of this book, I will have created almost 50 stamp sets exclusively for Gina K. Designs, with sets ranging from clean graphic to realistic nature images, whimsical animals and decorative elements. "A Year of Flowers" is one of the best-selling sets for Gina K. Designs, and has been featured on PBS and on projects in various crafting publications. My design work can often be found in the pages of CardMaker and Crafts n' Things magazines.
