Modern Flavours of Arabia serves up a generous helping of tradition and good eating from the kitchen of Suzanne Husseini. Authentic Arabian dishes inspired by Suzanne's fondest food memories are blended with an elegant, modern take: crepes are speckled with pistachios and sweetened with rose syrup, and scones are enhanced with dates, orange and cardamom. The classics are here too: tabbouleh, hummus, shawarma and homemade labneh. These are the foods that Suzanne loves to cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and she wants us to love making them, when recreating the same flavours at home. A regular contributor to many publications around the world, including BBC Good Food and Caterer, Suzanne Husseini was host of one of the most popular Arabic cooking shows in the Middle East and earned a loyal following among her dedicated viewers. She frequently conducts live cooking demonstations as a featured presenter at major food events, such as Taste of Dubai and Gourmand's Paris Cook Book Fair, and has a strong media profile in the United Arab Emirates and beyond. Suzanne currently lives in Dubai and travels widely taking her tastes of the Middle East to the world.
