Insight Flexi Map: Beijing

"Fleximap Beijing" includes 7 maps. The main map is a detailed street map of central Beijing (1:23 000) with points of interest and general tourist information clearly marked. There are 2 maps covering the area around the city (1:250 000 and 1:1 500 000), useful for planning trips out to the Great Wall, and detailed plans of the Forbidden City (1:7000), the Summer Palace (1:7000) and the Fragrant Hills (1:15 000). Finally, a map of the city's now-extensive subway system is included on the back cover. In addition to the mapping, "Fleximap Beijing" also includes a list - with descriptions and photographs - of 26 recommended sights, divided by theme and linked to the mapping by numbered markers. There is also a handy information section with concise details on getting around the city, tourist offices, money, tipping, opening times, public holidays, telecommunications, emergency telephone numbers, and climate.
