Spine compartmentalised, with raised bands, embellished in gilt. E.g. Inside dentells. Green silk wove end-papers. (XL,712pp.). Illustrated with many hundreds of wood-cuts. Adorned under the gilt of the fore-edge is a very handsome painting of Cargo Spritsail Barges, The London Bridge, and The Dome of St. Paul's, London, in fine early colouring. A desirable fore-edge.
