This is a rare book from the Berkelouw Rare Books Department.
London: Cassell & Co., n.d. (ca 1876). Thick 4to. Orig. illust. cloth (slightly rubbed) with bevelled boards. Gilt. All edges gilt. (viii, 392, 8pp.). Complete with 50 magnificently coloured full-page chromo-lithograph plates each with its orig. tissue-guard after J.W. Ludlow, and numerous text-illusts. The frontispiece has been creased, and there is some occasional foxing of the text; otherwise an excellent complete copy with the plates sharply coloured.
