With 2 frontispieces, 6 full-page engr. plates, 16 wood-engrs. in the text, and 2 maps, one of which is fold. Plates foxed as usual, otherwise a good set of the 1st ed. Hill p.96. NOTE: Leaving Sydney in Dec. 1816, Ellis visited New Zealand before going to Tahiti and the Society Islands.
