NOTE: Annabella Innes was born near Bathurst New South Wales in 1826 and went to school in Sydney in 1834 when her journal begins. In 1843 she moved to Port Macquarie and married Patrick Charles Douglas-Boswell in 1856 at Newcastle. In the 1860s' they moved to Scotland where Annabella died in 1916.
