With frontispiece 45 full-page plates some coloured and some with captioned tissue-guards and text-illusts. 1st edition. This copy presented and inscribed 'Presented to Mr. W.D. Adair by the Officers 1st Bn. The West Yorkshire Regt. G.D. Price Colonel. Commdt. 1st Bn. The West Yorkshire Rgt. York 29.4.22'. And tipped in on front endpaper an original photograph of the Regiment in South Africa 1900. A fine and complete copy. NOTE: Only 250 copies were printed.
