This is a rare or used book from the Berkelouw Rare Books Department.

Canberra: Officina Brindabella 1989. Royal 8vo. Orig. oasis-backed grey papered boards with illust. two-colour titling-label on front cover (hand-bound by Robin Tait). With 7 wood-engravings by Rosalind Atkins. Edition limited to 290 numbered copies fully signed by the Poet. Title-page printed in red/black ink. Fine. The text paper is mould-made Zerkall and the endpapers were made of blady grass fibre by Katharine Nix. NOTE: The publisher Alec Bolton in discussing this production states: 'This too was a very popular book which sold out quickly. I imported a lovely German mould-made paper Zerkall which went well with the blady-grass endpapers that Katharine Nix made. When it was new the paper smelt of the bush which many people commented on. I don't like breaking lines in setting poetry which was a real challenge with this work. To a certain extent the long length of the lines dictated the format'.
