This successful service, which has been used by many directors of commercials and movies, is now available to everyone. Berkelouw Books announce their Books by the Metre service, for people, companies and organisations that need to obtain that special warm ambience, which only a well-stocked bookshelf can provide.

We cater to people who want to utilise books for display and decoration, especially in the following areas:

• Film, TV, theatre and commercials - you can see our work in Matrix Reloaded and Peter Pan.
• Private Homes, new homes or holiday homes - gain an instant library.
• Interior Designers - we can choose a selection to complement any decor.
• Retail and corporate displays - add solidity and ambience to any display. Books take the sterility out of retail spaces.
• We can build libraries based on colour, subject or binding style, including uniform, matching sets, leather bindings, traditional cloth, gold stamped or modern, new and glossy.
• Our selections will please the eye and will lend an intellectual, cultured air to any space they occupy. Books represent accumulated knowledge. Books more than furnish a room, they positively bring it to life.
• Hire or Buy, depending on your needs. We can compile a selection very quickly and arrange delivery.
• For rental periods less than 7 days a 75% refund will be issued when the books are returned in the original condition.
• Price on application for long term rental and large orders.
• Please note new hardcover books can be purchased at the recommended retail price less 15% (minimum purchase is one metre).
