The Lover's Dictionary by David Levithan

"love, n. I'm not going to even try."
It is hard to do justice to a book that is so captivating but in such an indescribable way. Nevertheless I am going to try anyway because I want you to read it.
This is a sparingly written, but beautifully crafted exploration of the moments, thoughts, feelings, pleasures, pains, insecurities and connections that comprise love. Through the singular story of an unnamed couple, Levithan poignantly yet humorously manages to put words to the ineffable and eloquently capture the meanings and emotions behind the dictionary definitions.
I love this book.
