About the Authors:

Cassie Hamer has a professional background in journalism and PR, but now much prefers the world of fiction over fact. In 2015, she completed a Masters in Creative Writing, and has since achieved success in numerous short story competitions. Cassie lives in Sydney with her husband and three daughters, who still believe piñatas are a fun and effective method of lolly-distribution. After the Party is her first novel.

Penelope Janu has six children and two large dogs, and lives on the coast in Sydney. She had a long career as a solicitor and legal academic before her debut novel In at the Deep End was published in 2017, followed by On the Right Track in 2018. Penelope writes full-time, except for voluntary legal work, and completed On the Same Page while studying an MA in Creative Writing at UTS.

Joanna Nell was born in the UK and studied medicine at Cambridge and Oxford universities. Her short fiction has won multiple awards and been published in various journals and literary anthologies. As a GP with a passion for women's health and care of the elderly, Joanna writes character-driven stories for women in their prime, creating young-at-heart characters who are not afraid to break the rules and defy society's expectations of ageing. Her first novel The Single Ladies of the Jacaranda Retirement Village was a national bestseller.
