Writers Live - Jamie Durie introduces Edible Garden Design
22nd Oct '13 @ Berkelouw Mona Vale

In Edible Garden Design, respected horticulturist and author Jamie Durie delivers inspiring ideas for creating gardens good enough to eat, no matter where you live, or how much room you have.
Anyone who has ever eaten a freshly-picked tomato from a vegie patch knows that nothing tastes as sweet or delicious as home-grown food. In his new book Jamie Durie combines his design skills and landscape experience to show how to transform overlooked spaces into stylish gardens for fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs. A range of inspiring projects are featured including gardens from Australia and overseas.
Growing your own food has financial and health benefits, and is environmentally friendly. All it takes is an empty windowsill, balcony or patch of green to grow fresh herbs and vegies that will you give you something to cook as well as a sense of pride.
