Writers Live - Meshel Laurie introduces Buddhism for the Unbelievably Busy
6th Feb @ Berkelouw Mona Vale
You are invited to meet Meshel Laurie when she introduces her new book Buddhism for the Unbelievably Busy.
It seems like we're always busy these days. Unbelievably busy. Self-confessed workaholic Meshel Laurie knows as well as anyone what that's like. But as a practising Buddhist, she's discovered some principles to help temper her tendencies and she's happy to share them.
Exploring how to juggle the demands of work, children and ageing parents, Meshel shares her experiences with wit and wisdom drawing on her long and varied career.
She asks: why are we all so busy? How much of our busyness is unhelpful? And what changes can we make to find some peace?
Join us at 6.30pm on Tuesday February 6th, when Meshel Laurie shares some hilarious, honest and heartfelt advice on staying sane in the modern world.
