Published London: W. Fadden Geographer to the King and to H.R.H. the Prince of Wales 1802. The map depicts the lands bordering the Ethiopic Southern Ocean and those in the Indian Ocean including New Holland whose southern coasts are not yet delineated. Measurements 77 x 58cm. including good margins. In fine original state. According to Tooley (see No.1488) there were two issues of this map the First as here offered dated 1802 showing Australia as New Holland as well as a Second issue dated 1822 where Australia is captioned as Australia.
