A collection of 205 original photographs mostly measuring 25.5 x 20 cm. neatly mounted on thick board in 3 albums. Entitled "Places Visited during 1886".

Comprising views in the major European cities of Italy France Germany England Scotland and Wales and including important landmarks in Egypt (Suez Canal Port Said etc.). The albums bound in half calf (one being large 4to the other two oblong 4to). Many of the scenes are fully captioned. Some foxing/aging mostly confined to the blank mounting board. A good collection of late 19th century photography.
