Circa 1750. Original hand-coloured copper engraved map measuring 18.1 x 11.0 cm. Not recorded. Depicts New Guinea and New Britain prior to Carteret's voyage. Arnhem Land and Cape York according to Tasman are included but east coast of Cape York is hypothetical and runs south-east. Includes coloured catouche in lower left corner.
