Author's signed and inscribed present.copy. Written on front fly-leaf is "To the Honourable Mrs Dewrose without whose generous assistance this book would not have seen the light. 3. XII. 1929. Reginald L. Hine. Together with a handwritten letter by the author on his personal writing paper presumably to Mrs. Dewrose. The letter mentions the names of Rufus Penney and Neave Brayshaw who also encouraged and assisted the author. Fully signed Reginald L. Hine and dated 19. XII.1929.
