The author's personal copy specially bound bearing the publisher's/binder's binding ticket inside front cover and bound in elaborate full dark brown crushed morocco with contrasting gilt designs to both covers. Spine with raise bands rubbed with weak front hinge (but holding). All edges gilt. The author's bookplate inside front cover as well as adhered to the front paste-down are 3 small assoc. newspaper clippings one of which is signed with initials 'G.C.G." (xvi 204pp.). With 6 double-page col. plates and subscribers's list at end. 1st ed. Contents fine.
