London: Printed for T. Snelling 1762 & 1763. 4to. Orig. calf (edges & corners with some rubbing & front hinge starting). Spine with raised bands gilt lettering and dentelles. With 24 copper plates. Previous owner's bookplate Dr. Leonard Warnock (1944) on front end-paper with red wax seal. Moderated foxing throughout otherwise a nice clean copy. Both 1st editions. NOTE: A handsome copy of historic importance of two volumes bound together attributed to Thomas Snelling (1712-1773) numismatist antiquary and one of the most celebrated coin dealers in London of his day.
