Additional calf title-label in pocket on back endpaper. Some very light foxing to title-page, otherwise a fine and attractive copy. Facsimile reprint of London 1809 edition. NOTE: Nicolas Baudin led the French expedition to chart the unknown southern coast of New Holland. They met Matthew Flinders and the 'Investigator' on 8 April 1802 at Encounter Bay, in South Australia. Baudin died in 1803 on the homeward journey to France so it was left to the expedition's naturalist, Fran??ois P??ron, to publish the account and charts of the voyage.
