With 64 col. plates of which most full-page b/w and col. text-illusts. a text-map and a double-page map. NOTE: Ferdinand Lucas Bauer (1760-1826) was an Australian botanical artist who sailed around Australia from 1801-1805 with the Investigator Expedition. This publication coincided with an exhibition of the same title held at the Focus Gallery Museum of Sydney on the site of the first Government House between 13 December 1997 and 19 April 1998.
