(Melbourne 1934-1974). Large 4to. In the original illustrated wrappers as issued (occasional slight chipping at edges). Profusely illustrated. An entirely complete set except for eight (8) issues which are not here included but can be searched for upon request. After the issue Vol.40: No. 6/7 (June/July 1974) the monthly journal ceased. NOTE: Complete sets of Walkabout are now extremely scarce and remain of social importance on account of the areas it covered for almost half a century. Its pages included the leading Australian writers of the day with outstanding photographic contribution as well as its wide spectrum of advertisers.
