Comprising engrv. title-page set within an illustrated border 4pp. of contents and 273 full-page copper-plate engraved maps mostly depicting the armorial crest of the various boroughs/towns. 1st edition of Ogilby's famous atlas entirely complete and all published. NOTE: Emanuel Bowen was probably England's most influential mapmaker in the 18th century and the fine engraving and minute detail displayed in these maps is a reflection of his skill.
