(Stockholm 1905). Oblong Royal 8vo. (edges slightly rubbed). Original pictorial boards. With colour illustrated endpapers and title page and 20 full colour chromo-lithographs. This collection of pictures by rustic artists were formerly common enough ornaments in the huts of peasants. They generally are of religious subjects and are painted in the loudest and most glaring colours and are executed in a naive style in order to impress all who appreciate humour. Some minor browning to the page edges otherwise a nice copy.
