These bound items are exact photographic copies of original works held in the Mitchell Library. The previous owners book-plate is loosely inserted into Lawson's Expedition Extracts. Yellow markings on verso of front covers where bookplates have become detached. NOTE: The crossing of the Blue Mountains led by Gregory Blaxland William Lawson and William Charles Wentworth was the first successful crossing and opened up the area for further exploration and settlement.
