He migrated to Queensland in 1923 at 16 and went on to work for an engineering firm in Sydney and eventually was responsible for the education of the Australian troops in Kure Japan. His work as a private secretary to the general manager of a Gold Dredging in New Guinea in 1931 is the topic of this title.
