A French memento of the historic flight across the Atlantic comprising 5 mounted photographs of the 'Spirit of St Louis' and its Wright engines including the personnel and dignatories at Paris Bourget Aerodrome folding plans printed text and a full page by page typed English translation. The cover title reads 'Le Graissag Rationnel des Moteurs d'Aeronautique' which translates: The Correct Lubrication of Aircraft Engines. Some loose negatives of the above photographs loosely inserted. NOTE: A particularly uncommon rarity commemorating the first solo nonstop transatlantic flight from Roosevelt Field New York to Le Bourget Air Field Paris May 20-21 1927.
