Looking north towards the City of Melbourne before the erection of Flinders Street Station. Printed in Vienna the mount bears a printed caption "Melbourne 1906" and mounted there on in sepia "A.N.A. Prize Best Improved School Ground in this Inspectorial District 1909". The illustrated image neasures 90 x 27cm. Behind glass in contemp. patterned wood frame. Fine and highly decorative.
