Fine 17th Century hand-coloured map probably published in either Paris or Amsterdam of the two hemispheres showing discoveries made by the Dutch East India Company as well as other trading companies. Highly decorative with illustrated cartouche as well as two sailing ships. Text in the four corners record 47 entries with Nos 1-34 describing Dutch explorers from 1594 to 1665 whilst Nos 35-47 describe the colonial possessions of the Company in Asia.
