NOTE: A very important report and enquiry excessively rare even in its slightly defective state as Ferguson 2500 cites only one other copy being the one from the Mackaness Collection. Among those who gave evidence at the Enquiry were the Very Rev. William Ullathorne John Macarthur Major T.L. Mitchell Sir Edward Parry John Marshall Major Thomas Wright a.o. Startling particulars were given of the conditions on Norfolk Island.
