NOTE: This important report by John Thomas Bigge's was one of three reports that were crucial to the development of the Colony. The other reports were 'The State of the Colony of New South Wales' and 'The State of Agriculture and Trade in the Colony of New South Wales'. It was also well known that John Bigge's and Governor Macquarie did not get along leading to alot of political tension.
