Uncut and unopened. Some edge clipping but overall fine. 1st ed. NOTE: In 1894 Horn a mining magnate and pastoralist organised and equipped the above Expedition which hoped to find evidence of older forms of life in the MacDonnell Ranges. Horn accompanied the party as far as Idracowra on the Fineke River; the Expedition ultimately reached Larapinta Land and was led by explorer/surveyor C.A. Winnecke. The group included Professor Sir Baldwin Spencer who edited the report detailing their discoveries and the four volumes comprise Vol. I: The Narrative; Vol. II: Zoology; Vol. III: Geology and Botany; and Vol. IV: Anthropology.
