The 2nd ed. printing (as stated on front wrapper) with variant numbering of the text is not recorded. NOTE: The Rev. W.B. Clarke was known as "The Father of Australian Geology" and is claimed to be the scientific discoverer of gold in N.S.W. He was recognised by the Royal Society of London.
