Sydney (1916-1940). In the orig. parts as issued (some spine chipping as usual) except that the two issues in Series II are bound in one volume. Profusely illustrated with coloured tipped-in plates b/w illusts. and numerous contemp. adverts. An excellent complete run of Australia's foremost art reference superseded by Art and Australia in 1963 after the cessation of the above 4th Series during W.W.II. The first issues of the First Series were published as limited editions. Extremely rare. Added: Preliminary Version for limited circulation of Artist Index to Art in Australia published by Library of N.S.W. in 1973 as a roneoed work.
