Two fold-out maps of Tierra del Fuego and Navarin Island including 13 b/w plates and figures throughout. Previous owner's hand-written inscription on front end-paper with light toning also at rear. Light foxing on page edges. Good condition. NOTE: Baldwin Spencer (1860-1929) was the second director of the National Museum of Victoria a noted biologist photographer anthropologist and helped transform university standards of Australian science.
