With frontispiece numerous text-diagrs. printed in red/black ink and contemp. adverts. Title and text printed in two coloured inks. Fine. Adorned under the gilt of the fore-edge is a fine painting of players in period costume playing whist the card game showing some cards on the table. In subtle colours. The perfect gift for the card player.
