NOTE: Sir Patrick Gordon Taylor was an Australian pioneer aviator who fought with the Royal Flying Corps in the First World War and crossed the Atlantic for R.A.F. in the Second World War. In 1934 he made the first crossing of the Pacific from Australia to America.
