This 2nd Instalment of the 1891 Census deals with the ages of the people their expectation of life conditions as regards marriage place of birth education dwelling places occupations and other aspects of social life. The census was the first to survive in substance after the 1841 Census was destroyed in the Garden Palace Fire in 1882.
