With 8 colour stills from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film including frontisp. 7 full-page b/w line illustrations and num. b/w text-illusts. Title-page foxed with offsetting. Pages slightly foxed throughout. NOTE: The Wizard of Oz written by Frank Baum in 1900 and published in 1901 under the title 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz'. It became an instant sensation and has been made into a musical as well as a movie in 1939.
